There has been an ongoing rumour that Henry Cavill is permanently quitting the DC Extended Universe to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the actor’s Superman future grows increasingly uncertain. The British actor has reportedly turned down Warner Bros.’s invitation to reprise his Man of Steel role despite the studio’s efforts to reach a new agreement with him.
If all the rumours are true then, Henry Cavill will be playing Hyperion in Loki season 2. According to comics, this superhero is actually from race of Eternals. It has been portrayed in different versions and the most powerful and deadliest is King Hyperion. We could also see this version of Hyperion, or maybe Hyperion evolves into King Hyperion in Loki season 2.
King Hyperion origin
On the mission to take over the whole multiverse, King Hyperion landed on earth and wanted to capture whole earth. Earth’s military forces and mightiest heroes resisted him. But as Humanity watched their Heroes perished facing Hyperion one-on-one or in groups, it became clear that none of them would be able to defeat him. While engaged in combat, he warned that in his universe, he had ruthlessly murdered Sentry, Thor, and even Galactus. According to rumours, Hyperion will serve as Kang the Conqueror’s guardian. Maybe we could see the whole Squadron Supreme team ( according to comics, A group of Earth Mightiest heroes from Earth-712. Hyperion, Power Princess, Doctor Spectrum, Amphibian, Whizzer, Skrullian Skymaster, and Nighthawk are the members).
