Is Doctor Doom in Wakanda Forever movie?

According to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever director Ryan Coogler, the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel was inspired by Thanos’ Snap from Avengers: Infinity War. As fans are aware, Black Panther 2 has undergone numerous alterations over its rocky production. Following the terrible death of franchise star Chadwick Boseman, the entire film was reworked, becoming as much a memorial to Boseman as a sequel to his 2018 journey. Finally, after a long wait, this movie will be hitting theatres on 11 November 2022.

The sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, will address the death of Chadwick Boseman’s T’Challa and transfer the legacy to her sister Shuri. However, in classic MCU tradition, Black Panther 2 will feature not only a new Black Panther but also Namor and Riri Williams’ Ironheart. However, because their roles have been prominent in the film’s marketing, fans are expecting more from this film. Fans are speculating about the Doctor Doom scene role in a mid or post-credits scene based on the plot of the film.

Fans have been anticipating the advent of the Fantastic Four and their supporting cast in the MCU since Disney purchased Fox years ago. With a Fantastic Four film in the works and a Reed Richards cameo in Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness, fans expected Doom to make his debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.

However, producer Nate Moore is to be believed, such expectations are unjustified. Moore confirmed to the YouTube channel Phase Zero that Ryan Coogler is a fan of the character, but including Doctor Doom in the film was never a possibility. Moore explained, that Doom is such a brilliant character and the world of Latveria is so fantastic. But once it is decided that Namor is the enemy, that was always going to be the focus.

According to people who witnessed the film’s premiere last week, Wakanda Forever has only one “extremely emotional” mid-credit moment, not the type that would allow for the introduction of a big villain. As disappointing as this news may be for some, Black Panther is a film that will depict the aftermath of T’Challa’s death in Wakanda.

Doctor Doom, of course, will make an appearance in the MCU. Perhaps in Phase 5.
